In August 2007 TVC Holdings led a consortium of investors including Pat McCann (ex Jury's Doyle Hotel Group plc, Chief Executive) and Davy Private Clients, to acquire the operating business of 11 hotels in Ireland. The Company currently operates 24 leased/managed hotel properties with almost 4,000 rooms. The business operates 11 hotels under its own Maldron brand with the balance operating under individual own brands. The Company opened its first UK hotel in Cardiff in May 2011.
