Quality Hotels/Comfort Inn, Ireland

TVC Holdings, in August 2007, led a consortium of investors including Pat McCann (ex Jury's Doyle Hotel Group plc, Chief Executive) and Davy Private Client, to acquire the operating business of 11 Comfort Inn and Quality hotels in Ireland.  A new company was set up to operate this business.  The Company employs in excess of 500 people and the 11 leased/managed hotel properties represent in excess of 1,400 rooms.  it is planned to develop the business further as an upper three star operator in Ireland and to extend into the UK.
