John Tracey, Chief Executive Officer

John Tracey has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Group since its inception in 1997. In 1989, he moved into venture capital and spent 8 years with ICC Venture Capital where he was investment director. John is an engineer and had previously worked in the semiconductor industry before joining Deloitte as a management consultant. He represents the Group on the boards of Norkom Group plc, Lightstorm Networks, and Shenick. John is a past chairman and current council member of the Irish Venture Capital Association. John holds bachelor and masters degrees in engineering from University College Dublin.
